Harp Concert

The Police Department and the Explorers donated food and security. They also brought "Zeke" the police dog.  The 18th District Court supplied a workforce to help us with the setup. The Rotary Club and the Civitan Club ran games, face paintings, etc.  The Family Resource Center had a booth with arts & crafts. The Dad's Club ran barrel races. St. Matthews Church ran a football competition. Westland Youth Assistance supplied the helpers for all the booths and stations. The Earth Angels performed their 50's routine. Other sponsors were The Humane Society, Tri-City Seals,  Public Library of Westland, Girl Scout Council,  Clown's Around Redford, and Rider's Hobby Shop.

Bob Kosowski and Margaret Martin, from Westland Parks & Recreation Department say they are anticipating even larger numbers for this year's event. "We're very pleased with the outcome of this event.  We started working on this year's project immediately once last year's was over. We are confident that we will host another unbelievable show."
